HOTFIREWOOD is owned and operated by Ken Scarlett who is NPTC qualified with several years' experience in tree surgery, arboriculture, log supply and related activities.
The centre of operations is Henley-on-Thames (hence 'H-O-T' firewood) but work is undertaken in a wide area stretching from Oxfordshire through Berkshire to Surrey. In Henley, HOTFIREWOOD produce logs, firewood and kindling from a 9-acre private sustainable woodland, working to a woodland regeneration plan approved and supported by the Forestry Commission.
Material created by tree surgery operations supplements the output from the woodland and ensures that there should nearly always be sufficient logs, firewood and kindling available to meet customers' requirements. However, Autumn and Winter see a very high demand, so early ordering is advisable.
